eEye Adds New Security Service
Irvine-based eEye, a developer and provider of security software and related services, said Monday that the firm has expanded its security testing services to include penetration testing. The firm said that its service, AMP--Any Means Possible--is targetd at companies looking for emulation of real-world attacks on organizations. So called "white hat" hacking services are used by companies to figure out where they might have vulnerabilities in their computer systems, to fix those holes. eEye said it has actually been offering the services "for years" as part of its offerings, but has launched those services publicly in response to the market.
