EDF Renewable Energy Acquires Texas Wind Project
San Diego-based renewable energy developer EDF Renewable Energy said last week that it has acquired a 200 megawatt, wind project in Texas. EDF Renewable Energy said it acquired the 200 megawatt Hereford 1 Wind Project, which is based in Deaf Smith County. The company said the purchase brings its total wind capacity in Texas to 561 MW. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. EDF acquired the wind project from Lincoln Renewable Energy.
