EcoDog Scores Angel Funding
San Diego-based EcoDog, a developer of home energy efficiency and monitoring systems, said this morning that the firm has raised a round of angel funding. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. According to EcoDog, the funding came from Tom Page, who is the former head of San Diego Gas & Electric and Enova Corp. EcoDog said the funding came ahead of a $5.6M, venture capital round that the firm said will complete by the end of the year. EcoDog develops energy monitoring software and hardware which ties into a homeowner's breaker panel.
