Earbits Debuts New iPhone Streaming App
Los Angeles-based Earbits, the music listening and discovery service led by Joey Flores, has just announced a new, free, iPhone music streaming app, which it says lets users listen to music with no commercials and no usage or skip restrictions. According to Earbits, the new mobile app runs on the iPhone and iPad, and gives access to songs from over 12,000 independent artists. Earbits had released an Android version of the app earlier this year. Earbits' operates an online music service specifically aimed at music discovery and letting users find new artists; the company is venture backed by Y Combinator, Charles River Ventures, former Lala CEO Geoff Ralston, WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg, and SproutBox.
