Disney Launches Digital Camera Line For Kids
Burbank-based Disney has rolled out a new digital camera line for children, the company announced this morning. The new Disney Pix digital cameras are designed for kids and "tweens" and are tied into Disney characters and themes. The new products, which are coming from Disney's Consumer Products division, start at $19.99 and include Disney branded photo editing software. Disney is tapping Digital Blue, a manufacturer of consumer electronic products for children, for the new photo line. The cameras include branded designs around "High School Musical," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Cars," "Little Mermaid," "Disney Princess" and "Tinker Bell" and range up to 3 megapixels for the top line camera.
