D2 Technologies Adds Android Support
Santa Barbara-based D2 Technologies, a provider of embedded software for the communications market, said this morning that it has added support for Google's open source Android platform. According to D2 Technologies, its mCUE client for mobile devices and handsets now ties into Google's open source mobile platform. The integration will allow OEMs using both D2 and Android to add voice-over-IP software support and dual Wi-Fi connectivity. Google Android is a LInux-based software platform used for developing cell phones.
