Cornerstone OnDemand Backs Disaster Relief Readiness Effort
Santa Monica-based talent and human resources management software developer Cornerstone OnDemand said today that its non-profit arm, the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation, has launched a new effort called DisasterReady.org. According to Cornerstone OnDemand, the new, online training resource is aimed at helping assist relief workers in the area of disaster readiness and response.
The new site allows relief workers to train and prepare for deployment in the field, and is supported by such organizations as Save the Children, Mercy Corps, the International Rescue Committee, UNHCR, InsideNGO, Oxfam America, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and Project HOPE.
Cornerstone OnDemand, which is led by Adam Miller, develops software-as-a-service used by companies to train employees, track performance, manage recruiting, and other related functions.
