Convertro Lands $5M For Ad Targeting
Convertro, the online advertising targeting and optimization technology developer headed by serial entrepreneur Jeff Zwelling, has raised $5M in a Series B funding round, the company said this morning. The firm said the funding came from Bessemer Venture Partners and DAG Ventures, and will go towards sales and marketing. Convertro develops a non-cookie-based tracking technology that helps marketers better track and analyze their customers, and helps to better target and optimize ad campaigns. Zwelling is a serial entrepreneurs who has had some major successes, including EchoSign (acquired by Adobe) and YLighting (acquired by private equity). Convertro raised $5M in a Series A in 2009.
