Continuous Computing Acquires Chinese Development Firm
San Diego-based Continuous Computing, a provider of high availability platforms for telecom manufacturers, said yesterday that it has acquired UPTech (United Platform Technologies), a product development firm in China. The company said that the acquisition would add global product development and regional support resources. The acquisition brings 80 additional staff to Continuous in Shenzen China. Continuous said that the offshore team would help it accelerate development of additional VoIP products. Terms were not disclosed.
