Cogent Gets $4M Maryland Win
South Pasadena-based Cogent Systems, a provider of automated fingerprint identification systems, said Tuesday that it has scored a win worth $4M at the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS). The correctional service will use the firm's Automated Palmprint and Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). Cogent's system will replace a legacy system at the department.
