CitizenHawk Taps VC As COO
Aliso Viejo-based CitizenHawk, a provider of a service that helps companies monitor the use of their brands online, said this morning that it has tapped Brady Stout as the firm's new Chief Operating Officer. Stout was most recently a venture capitalist at Maveron, where he served as a Senior Associate. Stout was also co-founder of Right Brain Interactive (acquired by The Learning Company) and Prospect Street Ventures, an early stage venture fund. CitizenHawk said that Stout will be responsible for the company's sales and domain recovery operations, along with building partnership and alliances. CitizenHawk is backed by Maveron, and helps companies find and address cybersquatters.
