CinemaNow Adds Warner
Marina Del Rey-based CinemaNow has added yet another studio supporting its download-to-own services, saying today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group to offer both movies and television shows for download-to-own. The move follows CinemaNow's announcement yesterday that it added Buena Vista Home Entertainment to the service. Warner's movies will be made available today for purchase. Titles will be available during the traditional home video window. The deal is Warner Bros. first download-to-own deal in the US, and includes TV titles like Babylon 5, Dukes of Hazard, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as well as The Matrix.
