CinemaNow Adds High Def Content To Video On Demand Service
Marina Del Rey-based CinemaNow has inked an agreeement with HDNet, a provider of high-definition television content, to add titles from HDNet's high definition library. The companies said that the content will be available on CinemaNow's download-to-own service. CinemaNow provides online, video on demand for broadband users. HDNet is headed by Mark Cuban, and provides new, sports, music, and entertainment programming in high def format. CinemaNow said that its users will be able to download permanent copies of HDNet programming for playback in Windows Media Video HD format.
