Champions Round Takes $7M For Fantasy Sports

Los Angeles-based Champions Round, a developer of fantasy sports games focused on the NBA and NFL, said this week that it has raised $7M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Point72 Ventures and Goodwater Capital. Point72 Ventures is the investment firm of the New York Mets' owner Steve Cohen.
