Pasadena-based Central Desktop has expanded its online project management software, waying that its newest release targets corporate intranets. Central Desktop, which delivers its software as a hosted online service, said that its Sprint 2007 release is targeted for use by company subscribers, and includes a company directory, company calendar, and other features. Central Desktop makes its software-as-a-service available on a monthly subscription model, and competes against such installed software as Microsoft SharePoint and Lotus Notes.
