CalAmp Names New Board Chair
Irvine-based CalAmp, a developer of fleet tracking and other electronic devices, said yetserday that it has named Amal M. Johnson as Chair of its Board of Diretors. Johnson has been on the company's board for seven years. According to the company, Johnson replaces A. J. "Bert" Moyer, and is the company's first female Chair. Johnson is also on the board of intuitive Surgical, Inc. and Essex Property Trust, Inc., and previously was Chairman and CEO of MarketTools, in addition to serving on the boards of Mellanox Technologies and Author-it. Among CalAmp's products are the Lojack vehicle tracking products.
