Boring Company Wins $1 Billion Chicago Transport System Deal
Chicago has selected Los Angeles-based Boring Company, the tunnel-transportation-hat-and-flamethrower company run by tech mogul Elon Musk, for a $1 billion transportation system. Chicago major Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced the win on Thursday, saying the system will connect people from downtown Chicago to O'Hare International Airport at 150 miles per hour. According to Emanuel will be fully funded by Boring Company, with "no taxpayer subsidies".
