Boingo Wireless Extends To Beijing International
Los Angeles-based Wi-Fi network provider Boingo Wireless is continuing to extend out its network of Wi-Fi access points in airports, reporting this morning that it has launched its managed Wi-Fi services at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). Boingo said the deal, through and agreement with Newbridge Technologies, will allow it to broadcast its Boing_Hotspot SSID and control the user experience at the airport. Financial details of the deal with the airport were not disclosed. Boingo's Asia Pacific plans and Global plans will work at the airport, as will hourly and day pass options. Boingo also said the deal gives access to its various roaming providers, including Korea Telecom, LGU+, Orange France and Skype, with wholesale Wi-Fi access at the airport.
