Applied Data Finance Lands $14.2M
San Diego-based Applied Data Finance, a lender which uses data science and machine learning to issue unsecured personal loans, has raised $14.2M in a funding round, the company said Thursday. According to the company, the capital raise was led by its existing investors. Names of those investors were not announced. Applied Data Finance said the funding came through a convertible note funding. Applied Data Finance is led by co-founder and CEO Krishna Gopinathan; the company owns the Personity Financial brand.
