AnyMeeting Adds WebRTC Support
Huntington Beach-based web conferencing software provider AnyMeeting is set to be the first company to support the new, WebRTC real-time communications protocol this week. The firm is announcing this week that it has already deployed WebRTC technology into its web conferencing platform. WebRTC runs on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, and helps improve real time communications in web browsers--adding support for video and voice chat via a number of building blocks for network, audio, and video streaming. AnyMeeting said that although other web software uses WebRTC, it is the first web conferencing product to support the new standard.
