Aggregage Gets $1M
El Segundo-based Aggregage, which develops software driven B2B websites and newsletters which aggregate blog and news postings for specific industries, has raised $1M in a convertible note, the company said today. Aggregage said the funding came from Andrew Goodenough, Accordance Ventures LP, AWV Partners LLC (Chris and Ted Ackerley), the Tech Coast Angels, John Suhler and other investors. The startup, which is led by Robert Flynn, said it will use the funding to launch new sites and grow its advertising sales. As part of the funding, Andrew Goodenough--formerly of Summit Business Media and Thomson Media's Banking Publishing/Conferences Group--will join the company's board of directors. Aggregage's B2B websites are published in conjunction with trade and professional associations. More information »
