AeroVironment Gets Win With Royal Australian Navy
Monrovia-based AeroVironment, a developer of unmanned aircraft systems, said Thursady that the firm's UAVs have successfully completed a sea trial for the Royal Australian Navy. The Australian Navy is looking to add the firm's SUAS systems for its Armidale class patrol boats. AeroVironment is a developer of unmanned aircraft used by the U.S. Department of Defense for reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition.
