Los Angeles-based 8BitCADE, a developer of a "DIY" game console that plays retro games--says it its game console is aimed at teaching teenagers STEM. The company--which offers up its game kit for $89.99--says its kit aids students in utilizing STEM skill sets. The company's kit requires learning soldering skills.
